Paulette Cialdella Women in Construction Spotlight

Paulette Cialdella, Estimator and Project Manager at Candor Electric, has been thriving in this industry for 35 years.  She realized she had an aptitude for electrical work at a young age and plunged herself into a career as an IBEW Local #134 Journeyman.  When asked about her time in the field, she quickly replies, “I loved every minute of it.”  For 22 years she traveled across the country doing projects for CNA Insurance. She eventually settled back in Chicago and started working for Candor Electric.  She no longer installs projects in the field but instead spends her time estimating and running projects. Paulette says, “you’re never done thinking, I think while I’m sleeping” and you can tell that is exactly what she loves about her job.  When she’s not managing a project or with her family, you can find Paulette on stage with her all-female David Bowie cover band.
